14 – 18 September 2026
Rome, Italy
This flagship event for innovation and technological development will take place from September 16 to 18, 2026, at the historic San Gallo Cloister, located within the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome (Via Eudossiana 18).
NanoInnovation has firmly established itself as a national reference point for the multidisciplinary community working in nanotechnology and its integration with other Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) across a broad spectrum of applications. The 2026 programme will place a strong emphasis on Innovation across the most advanced sectors—from nanomedicine and functional nanomaterials to energy, micro/nanoelectronics, photonics, quantum and space technologies—while also addressing the post-PNRR landscape and the accelerating role of Artificial Intelligence in deep-tech development, ensuring an event that is as inclusive and genuinely multidisciplinary as possible, with the aim of maximizing both technological impact and societal return on investments in research and higher education. Once again, NanoInnovation 2026 will bring together researchers, technologists, managers, entrepreneurs, and investors to exchange experiences, perspectives, and expectations, while highlighting the latest advances in nanotechnology.
As is tradition, special attention will be given to the active involvement of young researchers, doctoral candidates, and students, supporting their transition into professional careers and their role as key contributors to society’s future.
The 2026 edition will continue to rely on strong collaboration among co-organizers and partners, who will coordinate technical symposia, workshops, schools, joint events, training courses, and other initiatives.
The event will be structured over five days and will include:
- Scientific plenary sessions featuring national and international experts
- Parallel scientific and technical conferences
- Parallel Thematic symposia with poster and oral presentations
- Training courses, schools, joint events, and special events
- Satellite events organized by external institutions and companies, integrated into the conference framework
- An exhibition area hosting companies, universities, and research centres, where manufacturers will showcase the most innovative products in nanotechnology
As in previous editions, the conference organization and programme will be overseen by four committees composed of recognized experts from the scientific and industrial communities:
- Organising Committee
- Steering Committee
- Programme Committee
- Honorary Committee
NanoInnovation is a free event, open to all participants who complete the online registration. We warmly invite you to join us and look forward to sharing further updates.
