Concept

The Society supports microscopy meetings in Europe on 5 different levels:
  1. Every meeting can have its information distributed through the communication channels of The Society (bulk- mail and website calendar),
  2. The Society can patronage events,
  3. The Society can give limited financial support to local events,
  4. Each year a multi-national meeting can be selected as the EMS Extension and
  5. Every 4 years EMS organizes the European Microscopy Congress (EMC) in close collaboration with a local organizing team.
